  • According to the Recommended Nutrients Intake (2018), the intake of protein is between 10 to 20 % of total energy intake (TEI)
  • Protein in human diet are derived into two main sources, namely animal protein (eg : fish, poultry, meat, egg and milk) and plant protein (eg : cereals, nut, beans and soy products).
